- In 1972, at the age of 13 I received a Beagle puppy as a present from my grandparents. Little did I know then that “Sam”, my little tricolor pup would shape the rest of my life! After our first Kindergarten Puppy class I was hooked! Since then I have been training and competing with my dogs, first as a hobby and since 1980, as a full time profession. In 2001, I moved with my family, 9 dogs and my daughter’s horse from Venezuela, my native country, to Morriston, Florida. Here we established TRAINED DOG HAPPY DOG, an Obedience, Agility and Hydro-exercise facility.
